Single-Item or Total MRP Planning

You can carry out the planning run at two different levels.

• On the one hand, you can carry out planning for an individual material, that is
single-item planning.

• Or, on the other hand, you can carry out planning for a certain plant in which all the materials to be included in the planning run are planned. This is known as
total planning.
